Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zaknafein DoUrden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Warrior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Zaknafein DoUrden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, The Warrior!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DoUrden swats away the attempt to clinch by Warrior.

Warrior gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Warrior wants to stand up but DoUrden is controlling him.
DoUrden pushes down on Warrior's leg and manages to get into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ground and pound from DoUrden.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
DoUrden moves nicely into side control.
Warrior takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Warrior really doesn't want to stay on the ground with DoUrden. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

DoUrden thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Warrior tries to escape but DoUrden is in control.

DoUrden decides to stand up, so the ref orders Warrior to his feet.
DoUrden lands a high kick!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Warrior tries to close the distance and clinch but DoUrden swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Warrior moves in looking to clinch but DoUrden pushes him off.
Warrior is looking to clinch.
DoUrden looks to land a combination. Warrior sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

DoUrden decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Warrior is trying to escape back to his feet but DoUrden uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Warrior looks gassed!
Warrior is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, DoUrden asserts his dominance and retains side control.
DoUrden has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

DoUrden is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Warrior knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Warrior striking from the bottom but nothing landed.
Warrior throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

DoUrden has an Americana. Warrior didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! DoUrden is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if DoUrden hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Zaknafein DoUrden!
