Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ramses Kolmas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karol Cropp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ramses Kolmas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 53 - 32 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Karol Cropp!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cropp swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Cropp shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Cropp misses with a double jab.
A combination from Cropp does no damage.
Cropp rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kolmas moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kolmas swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Cropp.
As Cropp tries to get set, Kolmas tries to push him back and clinch up but Cropp manages to avoid the attempt.
Cropp takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Kolmas misses with a head kick.
Cropp throws a jab when Kolmas was well out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Kolmas moves into the clinch.
Kolmas misses with a hook to the ribs.
We've been hearing reports that Kolmas has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Kolmas tries to work over Cropp's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Kolmas scores with a shoulder strike.
Cropp takes an elbow to the forehead.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kolmas throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Cropp tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kolmas is in Cropp's guard.

Cropp escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kolmas gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Kolmas slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Cropp is on top in guard.

Cropp thows a huge punch but Kolmas dodges it nicely.
Cropp winds up and cracks Kolmas with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Kolmas is trying to control but can't.
Cropp slips a nice elbow through Kolmas's hands, connecting with Kolmas's forehead.
Cropp takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Cropp connects with a nice short shot to Kolmas's temple.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

A close round but Karol Cropp will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kolmas accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Cropp will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Kolmas postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Kolmas lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Kolmas stands up over Cropp, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Kolmas is in close to Cropp's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Kolmas thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Cropp throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Cropp has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Kolmas doesn't defend quickly enough and Cropp has managed to lock this one up! Can Kolmas escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Cropp on a fantastic submission victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Karol Cropp!
Karol Cropp took to the microphone after his victory and thanked his sponsors, Lion Fightwear for their support in the buildup to the fight.
Ramses Kolmas spoke after the fight, saying 'That was a fluke'.
