Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jimmy Peterson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, ButtStrike UrFace! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peterson takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. ButtStrike UrFace seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. UrFace throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Peterson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Peterson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as UrFace throws out the jab. Peterson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. UrFace defends it nicely. UrFace looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. UrFace digs a good body shot into Peterson's ribs. UrFace missing with a left hand there. Peterson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. A jab lands there for UrFace. Peterson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. The fighters circling - UrFace throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Peterson keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from UrFace. UrFace throws a shot from downtown. Peterson moves away and avoids it. Peterson appears to be looking for a counter takedown. UrFace thuds a left hand into Peterson's body. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Peterson wants to clinch letting UrFace counter with a right hand. UrFace dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Peterson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. UrFace lands with an uppercut that bounces Peterson off the cage and back into range. Peterson tries to close the distance and clinch but UrFace swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. ButtStrike UrFace is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. UrFace works Peterson's body with a nice hook. UrFace wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Peterson shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Peterson takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. UrFace throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Peterson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Peterson is breathing heavily. UrFace cracks Peterson with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. UrFace scores with a sloppy right hand. Peterson should have avoided that one. UrFace fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Peterson moves away from the strike by UrFace. UrFace connects with a jab. Peterson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from UrFace. UrFace scores with a jab. Peterson acknowledges it with a nod of the head. UrFace cracks Peterson with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. UrFace has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Peterson to stand back up!
Peterson is rocked! Peterson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Peterson gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! UrFace points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Peterson wakes up just in time to hear UrFace thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). ButtStrike UrFace! During a confident post fight interview, ButtStrike UrFace thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
