Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Niel Cenabre! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kareem Dennis ! The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, David Hoff and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dennis closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Cenabre's guard. Cenabre is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Dennis thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dennis tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dennis has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Dennis is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Cenabre is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dennis thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Cenabre wants to get back to his feet. Dennis looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Cenabre wants to control but Dennis postures up. Dennis is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Cenabre knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Cenabre is looking for a sweep. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kareem Dennis dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cenabre is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Dennis is looking for a kimura. Kareem Dennis has got the better of the ground game so far. Dennis has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Cenabre is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Dennis yanks on the arm and Cenabre is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission!
