The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Juarez throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hammer tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Juarez is in Hammer's guard.
Juarez is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Juarez wants to control from the top but Hammer keeps moving.
Hammer is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Juarez trying to control but Hammer is working from the bottom.
Hammer is controlling Juarez's posture.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Juarez has hold of Hammer's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Hammer seems comfortable defending it but Juarez has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Hammer is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Hammer is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Juarez couldn't care less - he's delighted!
