Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Manuel Velasquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Wayne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Velasquez's entrance music is Megadeth - Trust. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velasquez takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
No joy there for Wayne, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Wayne scores with a one two! Velasquez had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Velasquez takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Wayne lands a left and a right that send Velasquez crashing to the mat, dazed. Wayne thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Velasquez is rocked!
It looks like Manuel Velasquez has been cut.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Velasquez is looking to clinch.
Wayne throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Velasquez's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Wayne dives in looking to finish as Velasquez flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Wayne's strikes! Wayne is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Velasquez's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Velasquez was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bruce Wayne!
Our winner, Bruce Wayne, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
