Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Klaus Vandari! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Asker Allakaev! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Dean Styles and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vandari throws an ugly left hook that misses
so Allakaev counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Vandari bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Allakaev's guard. Vandari cracks Allakaev with a solid left hand. Allakaev throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Allakaev keeping moving, preventing Vandari from controlling successfully. Allakaev has momentary wrist control but Vandari slips an elbow through the middle. Allakaev throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Vandari stacks Allakaev on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Vandari! Allakaev is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Vandari's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Vandari wants to control but Allakaev is keeping him busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Allakaev taking some punishment here, with Vandari in his half guard. Vandari has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Vandari drops an elbow to the side of Allakaev's head. Allakaev looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Allakaev is refusing to be controlled, as Vandari sits in half guard. Allakaev is trying to get back to full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ground and pound from Vandari. Vandari trying to control the pace. Allakaev looking for submissions off his back. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Vandari lands a nice short elbow.
Allakaev is rocked! Vandari is working for a kimura but Allakaev is defending it quite comfortably.
Allakaev is still in real trouble! Can Vandari finish him? We've been hearing that Vandari has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Vandari scores with a big shot! Allakaev's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Allakaev! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
