Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tyson Frost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quavo Huncho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quavo Huncho has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tyson Frost! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Quavo Huncho! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shigeki Sano and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Huncho's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Huncho duly obliges. Frost tries to sprawl but Huncho drives through with a takedown into half guard. Huncho wants to pass to mount but Frost is defending the position. Frost keeping hold of Huncho's head, controlling as best he can. Frost has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Huncho is working away from the top position though. Frost is looking for a sweep. Huncho is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Huncho wants to control but Frost is keeping him busy. Huncho controlling the action here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Frost is refusing to be controlled, as Huncho sits in half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Frost manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Frost keeping full guard, as Huncho tries to pass.
That's one minute gone in the round. Frost is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Huncho trying to control the position from guard on top but Frost is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Frost pulls Huncho in to control the position. Frost continues to stall. Huncho tries to stand but Frost is controlling from the bottom. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Frost is pulling down on Huncho's head to control his posture.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Frost tries to keep at a distance but Huncho has taken the fight into the clinch. Frost looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Huncho tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Frost avoids it. Huncho keeps control of Frost as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Huncho turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Frost is looking for a sweep. Frost manages to get back to half guard. Huncho is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Frost wants to control but Huncho is keeping busy.

Huncho slips a nice elbow through Frost's hands, connecting with Frost's forehead. Frost moves into full guard.
Frost seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Frost being controlled here, momentarily. Huncho tries to free his leg and advance position but Frost is retaining full guard. Frost controlling the position. Frost is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Frost sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Huncho defending well though. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Frost controlling the pace. Huncho is trying to stand back up but Frost is controlling him

Frost doesn't succeed with the takedown and Huncho counters with a straight right hand. Huncho rushes Frost and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Huncho manages to break the clinch.
Huncho fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Frost looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Huncho shoots in and gets a takedown into Frost's guard. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Frost holds on and takes a little breather. Frost looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Huncho has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Huncho has Frost up against the cage in a clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Frost scoring with some ground and pound. Frost wants to stand but Huncho is controlling his posture from full guard. Frost throwing strikes from guard but Huncho blocks nicely. Frost content to stall in guard here. Frost keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Huncho's head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Huncho is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Huncho not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Frost throwing strikes but missing.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Quavo Huncho is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Huncho closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Frost did well to prevent Huncho getting side control. Huncho is breathing heavily. Huncho is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Frost has managed to free his arm - good work. Frost actively working from the bottom here. Frost is positioning himself well to prevent Huncho advancing to mount. Frost moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Huncho wanted to stand there but Frost had control of the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Quavo Huncho showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Huncho manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Frost on his heels. He'll look to pass Frost's guard now, I'm sure. Huncho must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Frost controlling Huncho's posture. Frost has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Frost wants to sweep here but Huncho controlling him for the moment. Frost bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Huncho's guard.

Frost loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Huncho trying to keep a closed guard but Frost is proving a slippery customer.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Huncho working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Frost. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Frost accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Frost missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Frost is working Huncho over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Frost throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Huncho has closed the distance and engaged Frost in a clinch.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Huncho tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Frost appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Frost gets a takedown into half guard. Tyson Frost has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Quavo Huncho is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Frost seems to be working for a kimura but Huncho defends the submission attempt.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tyson Frost. Well Huncho has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality.
