Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aldo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Gallareta tries to close the distance and clinch but Aldo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Jab, jab by Aldo - just one landing.
It looks like Manuel Gallareta has been cut.
Aldo motions for Gallareta to come forward. Aldo throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Gallareta shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Aldo throws a series of punches but Gallareta avoids them all with ease.
Jose Aldo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gallareta blocks a low kick nicely.
Aldo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Gallareta throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Gallareta throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Aldo's waist but Aldo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gallareta off to one side.
Aldo swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Good leg kick by Gallareta there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Gallareta looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Aldo is fending him off so far but Gallareta persists. Nope, Aldo circles away and we're back to standing.
Jose Aldo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Manuel Gallareta.
Gallareta fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Gallareta fails to land the takedown.
Aldo lunges at Gallareta with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Gallareta's hand.
Gallareta misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Gallareta tries to move into range but Aldo moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Aldo scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Gallareta looks gassed!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gallareta.
Gallareta takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Gallareta seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Aldo shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Gallareta is backing up but Aldo catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Gallareta covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Aldo Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jose Aldo!
