Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dean Mason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sea Level Cain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 4 - 1, fighting out of New York, Dean Mason! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Sea Level Cain! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Donald Grub and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A big left from Cain misses. Cain fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Mason. Cain wants to land a leg kick but Mason is out of range. No joy there for Mason, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Mason looks for the body kick but Cain saw that one coming. Mason throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Cain throws a hook but Mason blocks it. Mason appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. A solid body kick from Cain. Cain scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Cain scores with a sloppy right hand. Mason should have avoided that one. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mason ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cain moves away. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Cain! But no joy. Cain throws a shot from downtown. Mason moves away and avoids it. We've been told by Mason's head coaches at The Studio that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Cain fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mason manages to avoid it. Mason throws a body punch but Cain moves out of range. Mason punishes Cain's body with a nice straight punch. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Cain has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cain thuds a left hand into Mason's body. Cain works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Cain on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Cain slips a jab from Mason. Cain throws a nice outside leg kick. Mason lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Cain misses with a kick to the body.
Mason uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Cain. A shot to the liver by Mason. Beautiful body shot. Mason changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Cain cracks Mason with a good jab. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Cain misses with a looping left. Cain with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Mason to score with a decent uppercut. Mason throws a leg kick but Cain checks it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mason's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Cain connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Mason scrambles back to his feet. Mason blocks a jab. An attempted straight right counter from Mason misses the target. Mason throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Cain throws a front kick aimed at Mason's knee but Mason avoids it well. Cain smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Mason punishes Cain's body with a nice straight punch. Mason is looking to wear down Cain with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. A lazy body kick from Mason and Cain counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Sea Level Cain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mason throws a looping overhand right but Cain ducks down to avoid it. Cain misses with a wild body shot. Mason misses with a hook to the body
enabling Cain to counter with a crisp jab. Mason scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Mason takes a swing at Cain's ribcage but misses. Cain is looking to take this fight into the clinch. It looked like Mason was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Cain.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cain misses with a looping right. Cain throws the left hand but Mason avoids the punch easily. A decent looking cross lands there for Cain. Cain throws a leg kick but Mason sees it coming and checks it nicely. Cain misses with a low kick.
Mason cracks Cain with an open hand slap. Cain lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Mason digs a good body shot into Cain's ribs. A leg kick checked by Cain. Mason connects with a looping right hand.
Cain tests Mason's chin there with a solid looking shot. Mason jabbing away but nothing is landing. Cain finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cain ducks right into an uppercut from Mason. This has been an exciting period of action! Cain throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Cain tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mason paws at him with a jab and circles away. Mason was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Cain is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Mason had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Cain uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mason.

Mason throws a nice looking combination but Cain bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Cain lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Mason goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Mason throws a body kick that misses. Cain tries a quick counter leg kick but Mason is wise to it. Cain lands a body shot.
A leg kick checked by Mason. Mason takes a swing at Cain's ribcage but misses. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Cain ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mason moves away. Nice uppercut lands for Cain. That snapped Mason's head back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Dean Mason will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Cain appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Both fighters circling a little - Mason finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Mason tests Cain's chin there with a solid looking shot. Mason swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Cain looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Mason lunges at Cain with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Cain's hand. Cain throws a sloppy head kick and Mason moves out of range easily. Cain misses with a left hand and Mason counters with a nice uppercut. Mason blocks a jab. Cain just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromMason. Mason takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Mason throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Cain lands a jab to the nose. Cain closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mason to the mat! Mason manages to get full guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mason pulls Cain in close to prevent any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mason working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Cain. Mason keeping full guard, as Cain tries to pass. Mason seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Cain trying to control the position from guard on top but Mason is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Mason pulls Cain in to control the position. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Cain postures up in Mason's guard and throws a big left but Mason blocks it.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Mason walks into a straight right hand from Cain. Mason throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Cain tries a quick counter leg kick but Mason is wise to it. Cain throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Mason swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Mason moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Mason connects with a solid leg kick. Cain throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Mason takes a swing at Cain's ribcage but misses. Mason works Cain's body with a nice hook. Cain misses with an attempted mid kick.
Cain dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Mason. That did some damage!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cain keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Cain let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Cain gets the takedown into side control. Mason is trying to improve his position. Cain has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Cain throws a strike aimed at the side of Mason's head but Mason avoids it well. Mason managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Cain.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mason is looking to improve his position but Cain isn't that keen on the idea. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sea Level Cain showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Mason throws a sloppy head kick and Cain moves out of range easily. Cain forces Mason back against the cage and clinches. Mason swings wildly with an uppercut but Cain uses good head movement to avoid it. Mason wants to get back to striking at distance but Cain won't allow it.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Cain taking a breather. Cain misses with a hook from the clinch. A head punch blocked on the inside by Cain. A head punch blocked on the inside by Mason. Mason is trying to maintain a safe position but Cain gets an underhook and turns Mason into the cage. Mason stalling in the clinch but Cain improves position. Cain lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Cain has a couple of punches blocked by Mason.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mason lands with a short shot to the head. Cain is pushing Mason up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Mason is trying to push Cain away but Cain has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Mason tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Cain's elbow. Cain swings away with an uppercut that misses.

A jab from Cain finds it's way through Mason's defenses. Cain connects with a body shot. Mason looks to land a left hand but Cain moved out of range nicely. Mason scores with a sloppy right hand. Cain should have avoided that one.
