Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, V Two! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Get It! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Robert Douchet and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Two lands a head kick that stumbles It and the fighters go to the mat.
It is rocked! It looking to control.
It is still in real trouble! Can Two finish him? Two trying to stand up but can't free himself from It's guard. Two works a leg free and moves into half guard. It seems to have recovered his senses. Two wants to pass to mount but It is defending the position. Two wants to control but It is keeping him busy. Two wants to get back to his feet.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Two gets caught flat footed, as It shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. It looks gassed! It gets to his feet - Two follows without any prompting. Two throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as It stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Two follows into mount! This has been an exciting period of action! Two can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as It is looking to escape. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Two is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because It is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Two tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment. Two wants to control the pace but It is squirming around nicely. Two wants to stand but It is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
Two can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as It is looking to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Two controlling from the full mount. Two wants to control the pace but It is squirming around nicely.
The referee stands the fighters back up. V Two just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Two connects with a vicious head kick that knocks It to the floor! Two dives in looking for the finish! Two will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Two trying to control from half guard but It is working away. Two is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Two performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Two tries to pass to full mount but It defends it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Two stands up and beckons It to join him on the feet. Two goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Two throws a quick head kick that skims the top of It's head. Two with a body punch. A glancing blow. Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Two! It is out on his feet! Two rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - It is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! It is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
