Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Pask (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Theo Zakalis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Pask might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to 16 Tons. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pask gets the takedown into side control.
Pask working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Pask prevents Zakalis from escaping the position.
Pask remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pask lands a nice forearm strike.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pask misses with the ground and pound.
Pask lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Pask passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Zakalis!
Pask controlling the pace for now.
Zakalis takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Pask is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Zakalis can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Pask postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Zakalis in real trouble here! The ref calls for Zakalis to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dan Pask!
A relieved looking Dan Pask thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
