Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ebyn Dall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dom Willis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dall comes to the cage accompanied by Under the Blood. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ebyn Dall!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dom Willis!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Franklyn Lucas and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dall turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Dall buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Willis forces Dall back against the cage and clinches.
Willis lands a hook to the side of the head.
Dall trying to control the position but instead, Willis has worked for underhooks and has pushed Dall into the cage.
Dall wants to break free but Willis has control.
Willis gets through Dall's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Willis drops down looking for an ankle pick but Dall pulls his leg out and moves away.
Ebyn Dall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dall tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Willis looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
The fighters circle momentarily. Dall darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Willis throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Dall stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Willis connects with a body shot.
Dall throws a hook but Willis blocks it.
Willis defending well as Dall loads up on a big left hand.
Willis throws a counter combo.
Willis keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Willis steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.

Dall fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Nice shot by Dall.
Dall jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Willis throws a front kick aimed at Dall's knee but Dall avoids it well.
A swing and a miss from Dall.
Willis tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Dall throws a lazy right hand but Willis sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Dall keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Willis staying out of range there.
Dall throws a hook but Willis blocks it.

Dall tries to sprawl but Willis drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Willis prevents Dall from improving his position.

Willis is trying to control the action in half guard but Dall is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Willis throwing shots but Dall is blocking nicely.
Dall avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Willis.
Dall is looking to improve his position.
Willis takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Willis slips a nice elbow through Dall's hands, connecting with Dall's forehead.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Willis is just content to waste time from the top position. Dall takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Dall is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Willis is aware though and is defending well.
Willis stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dall swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Willis passes Dall's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Willis is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Dall is refusing to be controlled, as Willis sits in half guard.
Willis drops an elbow to the side of Dall's head.
Willis working the head and body with strikes.
Willis is looking to take a break and control but Dall is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Dall looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Dall wants to control but Willis is keeping busy.
Willis prevents Dall from improving his position.
Willis lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Dall has hold of Willis's hands but Willis slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Willis is just content to waste time from the top position. Dall takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Willis loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Willis trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Willis trying to control the position from guard on top but Dall is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Dall keeping full guard, as Willis tries to pass.

Dall throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Willis postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Dall is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Willis told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
Dall is working hard here to advance position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dom Willis dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Dall throws a push kick but Willis slaps the foot to one side.
Willis lands with a nice body punch.
Willis is looking to score with low kicks.
Willis shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Willis doesn't manage to clinch there - Dall circles away.
Ebyn Dall is winning the standup battle so far.
Willis lands with a shot to the body.
Dall throws a wild body kick that Willis sees coming a mile off.
Willis is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Dall rather than just go for the knockout.
Willis takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Willis avoids the body shot from Dall.
Dall lands a head shot.
Willis throws a jab when Dall was well out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dall lands with a thumping leg kick.
Willis tries to clinch up but Dall circles away and keeps his distance.

Dall closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Willis to the mat! Willis manages to get full guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Willis pulls Dall in to control the position.
Willis is continuing to stall.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Dall got a little sloppy there for a moment and Willis has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dall has managed to get both his arms back between Willis's legs - danger averted.
Dall sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Willis's guard.
Willis is concentrating on defense, preventing Dall from advancing position.
Willis looks like he's trying to stand up.
Dall throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dall prevents Willis from improving his position.

Dall is trying to work for a kimura but Willis is defending well.

Dall looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Dall throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Willis slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Dall stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Willis swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Dall preventing the sweep.
Dall postures up.
Willis pulls Dall in close to prevent any damage.
Dall wants to pass the guard but Willis is keeping the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Willis holds on and takes a little breather.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Dall stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Willis swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Willis shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Dall manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Willis is posturing up here but Dall has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Willis tries to roll out but it's too tight and Willis has to tap! Slick submission there by Dall!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Ebyn Dall!
Ebyn Dall retains his lightweight title!
A victorious Ebyn Dall thanked his army of followers in his post fight interview, telling people to make sure they follow him on Twitter.
Dom Willis spoke after the fight, saying 'I'll be back better than ever!'.
