Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ramsy Ricochet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Skinner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ricochet stuffs the takedown attempt from Skinner. Skinner gets slowly back to his feet.

Ricochet clinches up with Skinner and pushes him back against the cage.
Skinner has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Ricochet is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Skinner doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Ricochet's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Ramsy Ricochet has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex Skinner.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Skinner has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Ricochet stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ricochet wants it to stay on the feet.

Skinner manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Ricochet on his heels. He'll look to pass Ricochet's guard now, I'm sure.

Skinner works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Ricochet knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Skinner on the ground.
Ricochet is breathing heavily.
Skinner wants to take a breather but Ricochet is having none of it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ricochet is staying active underneath Skinner, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Skinner seems to be looking for submissions.
