Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between BA Baracus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sonny Fatu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fatu lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Fatu drives through and clinches with Baracus against the cage.
Fatu lands with a light punch inside.
Baracus is looking to break free of the clinch but Fatu has double underhooks.
Fatu on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Baracus throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Baracus effectively controlling the action here.

Baracus breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Fatu works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Fatu misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Baracus.
Baracus was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Baracus pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Fatu jumps guard and drags Baracus to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Fatu working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Baracus doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Baracus manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Fatu looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Baracus has picked Fatu up and slammed him! Fatu can't keep hold of the triangle and Baracus manages to pass to side control!

Fatu is working to avoid the ground and pound but Baracus connects with a decent elbow.

Baracus thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Baracus stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Fatu looks to land a left hand but Baracus moved out of range nicely.
Fatu ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Baracus moves away.
Fatu scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
BA Baracus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fatu stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Baracus.
Baracus uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Fatu.
Baracus lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Baracus ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Baracus moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Baracus feints and then cracks Fatu's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Fatu down.

Baracus throws a wild body kick that Fatu sees coming a mile off.
Baracus moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Fatu cracks Baracus with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Baracus seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Fatu stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Baracus.

Baracus throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Fatu's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Baracus.
Fatu throws out a counter right but Baracus avoids it with no problem.

Baracus gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Fatu gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
