Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bongo Bongo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Max Steel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Bongo Bongo! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Colin Fotheringham and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bongo rushes Steel and presses him up against the cage. Steel looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Bongo pulls guard successfully.
Steel wants to get up but he can't break Bongo's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Bongo keeping moving, preventing Steel from controlling successfully. Bongo throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bongo can do anything to dispel that myth. Steel postures up in Bongo's guard and throws a big left but Bongo blocks it. Steel might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Steel trying to control the position from guard on top but Bongo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bongo looking to hit a scissor sweep but Steel is one step ahead there. Bongo looking to control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Steel closes the distance looking to clinch and Bongo counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Bongo.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bongo is in close to Steel's body, working some short punches and elbows. Steel is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Bongo wants to stand but Steel has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Bongo is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Steel looking to control.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Bongo trying to stand up but can't free himself from Steel's guard. Steel could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Bongo looks to clinch and Steel counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Bongo using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Bongo has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Steel regains guard immediately. Bongo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Steel. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Bongo throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Steel works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Bongo sitting in guard, not really doing much. Steel keeping moving, preventing Bongo from controlling successfully. Steel working a defensive guard here.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. A good leg kick by Bongo. Bongo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Steel swats him away and circles back towards the center. Bongo gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bongo Bongo dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Bongo is looking to take a break and control but Steel is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Bongo wants to stand but Steel is controlling his arm. Steel tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bongo wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Steel takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Bongo Bongo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

He's pushed Bongo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Steel looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Bongo wants to sweep but Steel has passed to side control!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bongo struggling a bit here. Bongo wants to get back to his feet but Steel drags him back down. Bongo wants to control but Steel postures up. Steel looks up at the clock and then as Bongo takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Steel smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Bongo fails with the takedown and Steel counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Steel. Max Steel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bongo Bongo. Bongo wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Steel manages to pass to side control. Steel is pressing down on Bongo's thigh, looking to free his foot. Bongo is holding on for now. Steel has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Bongo defend it? Steel steps over the head and cranks it - Bongo is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Steel!
