Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Broke ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Broke lands with a nice combination. Fitzgerald backs away looking to recover.
It looks like Lucien Fitzgerald has been cut.
Broke throws a front kick aimed at Fitzgerald's knee but Fitzgerald avoids it well.
Broke scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Sloppy strikes there by Broke.
Fitzgerald gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Broke blocks the strikes from Fitzgerald.
Broke really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fitzgerald. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Fitzgerald makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Fitzgerald.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Broke wants to stand and escape but instead Fitzgerald has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Fitzgerald decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Broke shoots in and bounces Fitzgerald off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Fitzgerald has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Broke off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Broke bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Fitzgerald's head backwards.
Broke throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Fitzgerald counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Broke looks winded!
Fitzgerald successfully pulls guard.
Fitzgerald controlling Broke's posture.

Fitzgerald punching from the bottom.
Fitzgerald is pulling down on Broke's head. It's preventing any offense from Broke, at least for the moment.
Broke wants to stand and escape but instead Fitzgerald has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Fitzgerald stands up and waves to Broke to follow him.
Fitzgerald could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Fitzgerald gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Broke breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Fitzgerald rushes Broke and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Broke can't break the clinch.
Broke tries to break the clinch but Fitzgerald is controlling the position.
Broke wants to get back to striking at distance but Fitzgerald won't allow it.
Fitzgerald breaks from the clinch.
Fitzgerald throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Broke decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Fitzgerald keeps control of the position for the meantime.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Fitzgerald is pressing down on Broke's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Fitzgerald looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Broke is defending well. Fitzgerald quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Broke has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Fitzgerald celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
