Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rolland Barr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Uoi Ishida!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barr fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Barr fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ishida, pushing him back against the cage.
Ishida is pressed up against the cage. Barr has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Ishida down to the mat. Ishida avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Ishida drops Barr with a nice combination! Ishida dives into Barr's guard, looking to finish!
It looks like Rolland Barr has been cut.
Barr has Ishida pulled in close to control his posture.
Ishida controlling from the top position.
Ishida wants to control from the top but Barr keeps moving.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ishida with a flurry of punches that miss.
Barr preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Barr looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Ishida's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Barr could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Ishida throwing strikes but missing.
Ishida looking to sit in guard and control but Barr gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Ishida working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Barr.
Barr wants to control from the top but Ishida keeps moving.
Ishida looking for a sweep. Not yet Ishida, not yet.

Ishida has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Ishida throws a right and a left that both miss.
Ishida moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Barr is rocked!
Ishida plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Barr swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Barr face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
