Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Joe dirt! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! dirt lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Shaw circles away quickly and effectively. Jeez, both these guys look absolutely knackered already, that's not a good sign! Nice takedown defense from dirt. No joy for Shaw on that attempt. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Shaw bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Shaw is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, dirt has escaped the position, nice work there. dirt tries to escape but Shaw is in control. Shaw decides to stand back up. Shaw shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Shaw was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! dirt really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Shaw. Very smooth. dirt is trying to buck Shaw off. Shaw tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. dirt throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

Good work there by dirt. dirt tries to clinch up but Shaw circles away and keeps his distance. Shaw fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. dirt sprawls well initially but Shaw persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Shaw trying to mount his opponent but dirt defends it. Donovan Shaw overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Shaw thows a huge punch but dirt dodges it nicely.
Shaw passes the guard and advances to mount! Shaw goes for an armbar but he's not got it… dirt turns into him and now he's in Shaw's guard.

Donovan Shaw dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
The fight stays on the outside here - dirt looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Shaw fails with a takedown attempt from distance. dirt will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

That's one minute gone in the round. Shaw has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for dirt! Shaw breaks from dirt's wrist control and lands an elbow. dirt wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
