The judges for this bout are George Francis, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bale tries to clinch there but Abrams circles away.
We've been informed that Bale has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Bale is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Abrams.
Bale scores with a nice right hand.
Abrams displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bale throws out the jab.
Abrams tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bale throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Abrams throws a sloppy head kick and Bale moves out of range easily.
Bale throws out a counter right but Abrams avoids it with no problem.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Abrams feints and then cracks Bale's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bale down.

It looks like Taite Abrams has been cut.
Abrams throws a wild body kick that Bale sees coming a mile off.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Bale! But no joy.
Bale uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Abrams.

Bale takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Abrams creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Abrams lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Good shot there by Bale.
Bale lands a slapping body shot.
Bale swings for the body but Abrams moves out of range.
Crunch! Abrams slams his shin into Bale's torso.
Abrams throws a quick inside leg kick.
Abrams rushes Bale and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Bale pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Bale throws out a powerful jab.
Bale stalks Abrams and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Abrams's face. Abrams staggers backwards, shaken.
Abrams is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Abrams closes the distance and clinches.
Abrams throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Abrams lands an elbow inside.
Abrams lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Bale or not.
Abrams tries a body shot but Bale blocks it.

Bale tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Abrams looks to throw an elbow but misses.

Abrams prevents a body shot from Bale.
Bale's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Abrams has Bale pressed against the cage, preventing Bale from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Bale tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Bale escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Abrams goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Abrams bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Bale misses with an uppercut. Abrams saw that one coming.
Bale swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Abrams lands a big head kick that sends Bale tumbling to the mat! Abrams takes a step backwards and waves Bale back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Abrams uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Bale has time to react.
That has opened up Tony Bale's cut even more.
Abrams has managed to clinch.
A right hand to the body from Abrams.
Bale is trying to push Abrams away but Abrams has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
A right handed body shot lands from Abrams.
Abrams is working Bale over against the cage.

Taite Abrams dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Abrams looks to land a combination. Bale sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Abrams lands a big head kick that sends Bale to the canvas! Abrams follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
