Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Zelg Galesic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Denis Prager (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Zelg Galesic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Denis Prager!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Winston Alpacca and Peter Branson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Prager is looking to break free of the clinch but Galesic has double underhooks.
Prager tries to pull guard but Galesic holds him up against the cage and eventually Prager drops back down to his feet.
Prager is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Galesic to keep the fight standing.
Galesic on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Galesic is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Prager pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Galesic gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Prager.
Zelg Galesic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Denis Prager.
Prager is trying to force a seperation but Galesic has the dominant position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Prager tries to circle away but Galesic has him pinned against the cage.
Galesic drops down looking for an ankle pick but Prager pulls his leg out and moves away.
Galesic tries for a takedown but Prager sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Galesic throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Prager's waist but Prager gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Galesic off to one side.

Prager is trying to trip Galesic. He has hold of a leg but Galesic is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Prager persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Galesic can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Prager controls the pace.

Galesic isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Prager stacks Galesic on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Prager!

Galesic bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Prager working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Galesic doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Galesic manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Prager has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Galesic can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Galesic drops back, looking for a kneebar! Prager looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Prager looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Prager!

Galesic is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Well, if Prager is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Prager seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Galesic does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Prager is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Galesic is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Prager has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Galesic looking to break Prager's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Prager remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Galesic will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Prager is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Galesic gets his way!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Prager can do anything to dispel that myth.

Prager might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Galesic haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

That was a close second round but I would say that Zelg Galesic will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Prager has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Prager wants to take a breather but Galesic is having none of it.

You can see the frustration on Galesic's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Galesic breaks Prager's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Galesic drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Prager dives on top into guard.

Prager stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Galesic swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Galesic throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Prager escapes and throws Galesic's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Denis Prager comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Prager has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
