Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Red Bush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rey Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Red Bush!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Rey Sanchez!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Ryoma Takatsuka and Chris Saunders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Bush has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Bush takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

With the two fighters working up against the ropes, Bush just misses with a elbow thrown towards Sanchez's brow.

Sanchez pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Bush drives through and clinches with Sanchez against the ropes.
Bush creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Sanchez's defenses.

and Sanchez makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Bush really felt that one!
Sanchez walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Bush tries to close the distance and clinch but Sanchez swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Bush ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close round but I would say that Red Bush will probably get the nod.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bush, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
