Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Roger Arbuckle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mush Mouth!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arbuckle misses with the combination.
Mouth drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Arbuckle defends it well.
Mouth cracks a nice hook into Arbuckle's ribs.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Mouth.
Mush Mouth seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mouth goes for a double leg but Arbuckle avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Arbuckle continues to drive forward.
Mouth looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mouth shoots for a double leg takedown but Arbuckle sprawls well. He's pushed Mouth's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Arbuckle fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mouth avoids it really well and circles away.
Mouth looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Mouth misses with a takedown attempt - Arbuckle sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Arbuckle swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

It looked like Arbuckle wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Arbuckle defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Mouth.
Arbuckle stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Arbuckle wants it to stay on the feet.
Arbuckle was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Mouth shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Arbuckle napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Arbuckle sneaks back into half guard.
Mouth winds up and cracks Arbuckle with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Arbuckle is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Mouth scores with a couple of nice shots.
Mouth has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Mouth is nestled in close to Arbuckle, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Mouth trying to control the position from guard on top but Arbuckle is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Arbuckle seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mouth works over Arbuckle with some ground and pound from guard.
Oh Arbuckle is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Arbuckle keeping moving, preventing Mouth from controlling successfully.
Arbuckle seems to have got his legs back now.
Mouth lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Arbuckle is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Mouth not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Mouth's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mush Mouth dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Roger Arbuckle's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Mouth's corner calls for a 1-2. Mouth obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Mouth tries for a takedown but Arbuckle circles away easily
and Arbuckle counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Mouth fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
It looked like Arbuckle wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Mouth drops Arbuckle with a beautiful combination! Arbuckle stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Mouth is looking for the KO!

Roger Arbuckle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mush Mouth.

Mouth shoots for a double leg takedown but Arbuckle sprawls well. He's pushed Mouth's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Mouth tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Arbuckle defends well and Mouth ends up having to push Arbuckle into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

As Mouth looks to move away, Arbuckle throws a big counter combo but Mouth just gets out of the way.

Arbuckle feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Arbuckle wants to control from the top but Mouth keeps moving.

Mouth pushes Arbuckle off and gets back to his feet.
Arbuckle throws a big shot that misses.
Mouth throws a head kick but Arbuckle moves out of range.
Arbuckle swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Mouth shoots in for a takedown but Arbuckle shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Mouth throws a nice looking combination but Arbuckle bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Mouth looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Arbuckle!
Arbuckle is looking to regain half guard here but Mouth keeps moving and retains side control.
Mouth scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Arbuckle to see if he's OK.

Mouth will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Mouth closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Arbuckle escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mouth gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Mouth wants to pass the guard but Arbuckle is keeping the position.

Mouth has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Mouth landing some decent shots from guard.

Arbuckle has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Mouth doesn't defend quickly enough and Arbuckle has managed to lock this one up! Can Mouth escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Arbuckle on a fantastic submission victory.
