Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jay Steve (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Corban Storm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steve comes to the cage accompanied by Deetox - Headknocker. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jay Steve! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Corban Storm! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, William Gold and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Storm misses with a body shot.
Steve looks to land a right hand but Storm moved out of range. Storm ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Storm walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Steve checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Steve avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Steve leaves Storm with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. A punch combination from Steve misses. Steve misses with a wild body shot. The fighters circling - Storm throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Storm lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Steve lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Steve throws a body punch but Storm moves out of range. Storm on the wrong end of a nice jab. Storm on the wrong end of a nice jab. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Storm misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Steve.

That's one minute gone in the round. Storm dives in and scores a takedown into Steve's guard. Storm throws a big elbow that misses. Steve is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Steve can't keep his opponent in guard - Storm advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Steve is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Steve knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Storm on the ground. Storm is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Storm lands a nice short elbow. Steve is looking to improve his position.
Storm working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Storm thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Steve's head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Storm lands strikes from half guard. Steve blocking the ground and pound attempt from Storm. Storm looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Steve is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Nice strikes from Storm there. This has been an exciting period of action! Storm takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Steve looks like he's trying to stand up.

Storm looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Steve with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Storm is trying to control the action in half guard but Steve is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Steve on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Steve tries to get out of the position. Storm winds up and cracks Steve with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Storm thows a huge punch but Steve dodges it nicely.

Corban Storm dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Storm fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Steve looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Storm uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Steve. Sloppy strikes from Steve. Those never looked like landing. Storm shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Steve scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Steve looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Storm with a nice cross. Storm avoids a punch combination nicely.
Storm is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Steve throws an overhand right that lands on Storm's shoulder, as Storm tries to avoid the shot. Jay Steve is winning the standup battle so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Storm slips under a jab from Steve. Steve moves out of range of the body kick from Storm.
A leg kick checked by Steve. Storm throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Steve. Storm shoots in but no luck this time. A little feinted left hand from Steve on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Steve has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Storm. Steve keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Storm. Steve fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Storm uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Steve.
Storm throws the left hand but Steve avoids the punch easily. Steve avoids the head kick by Storm.
A looping hook to the body misses from Storm. Steve does a little dance to reset his feet. Storm takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Jay Steve is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Storm moves away from the strike by Steve. Steve paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Steve slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Storm misses the shot to the body. Storm feints and as Steve raises his hands in defense, Storm changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Storm preventing the sweep. Storm working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Steve working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Storm. Steve looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Storm trying to control the position from guard on top but Steve is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Storm trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Storm with a nice head shot there. Storm is working Steve over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Steve keeping moving, preventing Storm from controlling successfully. Storm has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Storm lands a couple of decent looking shots. Steve seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Storm is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Storm has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Steve is rocked! Corban Storm has got the better of the ground game so far. Storm lands a heavy elbow. Oh Steve is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Storm landing shots from mount. Corban Storm showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Steve's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Steve looks to land a right hand but Storm moved out of range. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Storm! But no joy. Steve seems to have got his legs back now. Steve throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Storm sees it coming and avoids it easily. Storm missing with a left hand there. Steve was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Storm fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. It looked like Steve wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Storm misses the shot to the body. Steve takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
A slow jab from Steve misses its intended target. Storm takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Storm connects with a good right hand that stumbles Steve. Steve circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Steve thuds a left hand into Storm's body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Storm defending well as Steve loads up on a big left hand. Steve avoids the body shot from Storm.

Steve swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Steve throws a jab but it's blocked by Storm. Storm tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Steve uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Storm.
Storm takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Good exchange - Steve coming out on top. Storm shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Steve napping and manages to drive through into side control! Storm lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Storm wants to lay and pray for a moment but Steve keeps working. You can see the frustration on Steve's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Jay Steve has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Steve is trying to get back to his feet. Storm creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Storm is putting a hurting on Steve here, landing some big shots from side control. Storm cracks Steve with an elbow. That is naaassty. Storm works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Storm lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Steve down.
Storm is looking to take a break and control but Steve is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Steve takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Storm lands some shots froms side control. Corban Storm is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Storm content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Storm working the head with strikes. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Storm scores with punches from side control. Storm controls the position from side control. Storm scoring with punches and elbows. Storm working the ground and pound. Steve trying to remain calm as Storm controls from the top position. Storm in side control lands a decent elbow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Storm controls the position. Storm lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Steve down.
Steve takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Storm has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Steve! Storm with a couple of short strikes. Storm controlling the position easily from mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Steve can't escape the position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Storm lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
And that's the end of the fight! Corban Storm comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Storm winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
