The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
C K has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Griffin.
C K takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
C K cracks Griffin with an open hand slap.
Griffin thows a leg kick but C K checks it

and C K moves into the clinch.
C K lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Griffin backwards.
Griffin goes for a takedown attempt but C K pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
C K scores with a jab to the jaw.
Griffin shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has C K pinned against the cage. C K gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Griffin throws an uppercut from half a mile away. C K sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Griffin doesn't manage to clinch there - C K circles away.
An inside leg kick from C K misses.
And Griffin tries to counter it with a takedown but C K pushes his down on his head and steps out.
C K digs a good body shot into Griffin's ribs.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Griffin scores with a jab. C K acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Griffin throws a jab when C K was well out of range.
C K dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
C K takes a swing at Griffin's ribcage but misses.
Griffin works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Griffin connects with a crisp jab.
C K lunges at Griffin with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Griffin's hand.
C K takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
C K stuffs the takedown attempt from Griffin. Griffin gets slowly back to his feet.
Louis C K has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matt Griffin.
Griffin throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and C K counters by clinching up.
C K tries a body shot but Griffin blocks it.
C K is stalling here.
C K lands with a short shot to the head.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
C K just leaning against Griffin, taking a breather.

Griffin is trying to stall.
C K lands a hook that snaps the head of Griffin backwards.
C K is stalling here.
C K misses with a body punch.
C K throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Griffins head.

C K manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Griffin is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but C K has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Griffin is looking to defend but C K has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Griffin! C K pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Griffin taps out and this one is all over!

After the fight, Louis C K was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
