The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koistinen chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Koistinen looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Koistinen misses with a straight right.
Despite the aggression on Blade's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Koistinen scores with a shot to the body.
Blade has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Koistinen.
Blade jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Koistinen fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Blade has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Koistinen throws a hook to the side of Blade's head but Blade sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Koistinen throws a quick inside leg kick.
Koistinen lands a nice hook to Blade's body. Blade takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Blade closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Koistinen scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Koistinen thows a body kick. Blade tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Koistinen tries to clinch there but Blade circles away.
Koistinen throws a hook but Blade avoids it easily.
A looping hook to the body misses from Blade. Koistinen does a little dance to reset his feet.
Koistinen slips a jab from Blade.
A clash of legs there as Blade blocks the low kick.
Koistinen just misses with a punch to the body.
Koistinen takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Blade swings away with a leg kick that misses.
A solid leg kick lands there for Koistinen.
Koistinen tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Blade takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Koistinen looks to land a right hand but Blade moved out of range.
Blade scores with a jab to the jaw.
Koistinen lands a leg kick that knocks Blade off balance momentarily.
Blade uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Koistinen.
Blade throws a chopping leg kick but Koistinen manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Blade takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Blade smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Koistinen misses with a body shot.
Koistinen has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Blade.

Nice defenses there by Koistinen.
Koistinen throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Blade on the side of the head.
Blade is still on wobbly legs! Can Koistinen finish him?
Blade looks up at the clock. Bad move! Koistinen lands a right hand from hell, dropping Blade. Koistinen pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

After the fight, Kristus Koistinen was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
