Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ace Pantera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Barracuda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pantera comes into the arena with All the Way Turned Up blaring out of the sound system. Ace Pantera could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to The Barracuda's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Bruno Lombardi and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barracuda tries a head kick but it misses.
Barracuda tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Pantera shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Barracuda but Barracuda pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Barracuda lands a jab-cross combination.
Barracuda tries to bum rush Pantera with a series of wild strikes but Pantera uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Pantera has taken the fight to the clinch.
Barracuda is trying to maintain a safe position but Pantera gets an underhook and turns Barracuda into the cage.

Pantera's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Pantera postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Barracuda looks a forlorn figure.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Pantera cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pantera pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Barracuda tries to hold on but Pantera postures up.
Pantera can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Barracuda is looking to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pantera lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Pantera takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Barracuda tries to reverse the position but Pantera maintains control.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pantera had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Barracuda is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Pantera Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Barracuda's back instead.

Barracuda manages to stand up with Pantera still on his back. Eventually Pantera drops to his feet and we're back in the standing position.

The Barracuda comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Pantera has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
