The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bagdazar shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Bagdazar throws a low kick but it's checked well by Hoppe.
Hoppe wants to counter the offense by Bagdazar and move into the clinch position.
Hoppe tries to clinch but Bagdazar moves out of range.
Hoppe blocks a jab.
Hoppe avoids the head kick by Bagdazar.
Hoppe closes the distance and clinches.
Hoppe can't find room to land a body shot as Bagdazar controls the action.
Hoppe lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Hoppe tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Bagdazar's elbow.
Hoppe throws a head punch that misses.
Hoppe gets through Bagdazar's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bagdazar wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Hoppe misses with some punches.
Hoppe gets through Bagdazar's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Bagdazar wants to get back to striking at distance but Hoppe won't allow it.
Bagdazar blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Bagdazar is trying to break the clinch but Hoppe has him pressed against the ropes.
Hoppe pushes Bagdazar back against the ropes and unloads with a body punch.
Hoppe lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Hoppe tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
A right handed body shot lands from Hoppe.
Hoppe doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Hoppe lands a nice uppercut.
Hoppe misses with a short punch on the inside.
Hoppe lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Bagdazar backwards.
Bagdazar is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hoppe cracks Bagdazar with a big uppercut, right up the middle and Bagdazar goes down! Oh, he's hurt! He's bigtime hurt! The referee is giving him a chance to get back to his feet - 4,5,6,7, no, he's called it off! Bagdazar wasn't going to make it and the fight is over!
