Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Seto Michigawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roger Rydell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roger Rydell told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Seto Michigawa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Roger Rydell! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Leandro Rodrigues and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Michigawa takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
It looks like Seto Michigawa has been cut. Rydell drives through with a takedown into Michigawa's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Rydell wants to control from the top but Michigawa keeps moving. Michigawa being controlled here, momentarily. Rydell throws a strike but Michigawa rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Michigawa is stalling in the full guard. Michigawa is in close to Rydell's body, working some short punches and elbows. Our spies down at at Rio Rough House inform us that Rydell has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rydell working a defensive guard here.
Rydell has his foot on Michigawa's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Michigawa works his way back into a safe position though. Michigawa trying to control but Rydell is working from the bottom. Rydell looking for a sweep. Not yet Rydell, not yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rydell being controlled here, momentarily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rydell is looking for a triangle but Michigawa pushes his legs off easily.
Rydell wants to improve his position but instead Michigawa has moved into half guard.
Michigawa stalling. Rydell looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Rydell punching from the bottom.
Rydell wants to control but Michigawa is keeping busy.
The fighters are battling for position here. Rydell manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Michigawa is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Rydell is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Rydell pulls Michigawa in close to prevent any damage. Rydell is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Michigawa frees his head nicely. Oh but Rydell has switched to an armbar! Michigawa is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
