Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quinton Randleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Gelfen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eddie Gelfen will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Eddie Gelfen!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Anni Minnemäki and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gelfen misses the jab.

Randleman shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Gelfen napping and manages to drive through into side control!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Gelfen enables Randleman to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Gelfen manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Randleman's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Gelfen connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Randleman scrambles back to his feet.

We've been hearing that Randleman has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Randleman seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Gelfen for as long as he can get away with.

Randleman's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Randleman slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Gelfen escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Randleman gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Randleman looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Gelfen with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Well, if Randleman is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Randleman closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

After the fight, Quinton Randleman was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
