Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Neil Rollins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucifer Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rollins comes to the cage accompanied by Everyday Normal Guy. Jones is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Weapon of Choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Neil Rollins! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lucifer Jones! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones is looking to score with low kicks. Jones sizes up Rollins with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Jones connects with a single shot there. Jones is looking to chop away at Rollins's legs. Rollins slips a jab and a cross from Jones.
Jones throws a one two combo.
Jones misses with a kick to the body.
Jones connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. A jab from Rollins misses. Jones moves out of range as Rollins strikes. Neil Rollins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rollins blocks a low kick nicely. Rollins walks into a jab. Rollins with a body punch. A glancing blow. Rollins slips a jab and a cross from Jones.

That's one minute gone in the round. Jones avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Jones goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. A good leg kick by Jones. Rollins looks for the body kick but Jones saw that one coming. Rollins misses the shot to the body. A slow jab from Rollins misses its intended target. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Rollins lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Jones has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Jones and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Jones throws a nice looking combination but Rollins bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Rollins tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jones swivels and escapes. Rollins doesn't manage to clinch there - Jones circles away.
Jones jabs Rollins right on the nose. Rollins blinks but takes it well. Jones lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Jones swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rollins fails with an attempt to clinch.
Jones thows a leg kick but Rollins checks it and Rollins counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Jones defending well as Rollins loads up on a big left hand. Rollins looks for the body kick but Jones saw that one coming. Rollins tries to clinch but Jones moves out of range. Donk. Jones catches Rollins right on the button with a cross. Rollins throws a left and a right that both miss
and Jones makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Rollins jabbing away but nothing is landing. Rollins fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Jones circles away from the clinch attempt and Jones counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rollins misses with a looping right. Rollins has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Jones circles away from the clinch attempt letting Jones counter with a right hand. Jones misses with a jab, cross combination.
Jones's corner calls for a 1-2. Jones obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Jones is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Rollins has managed to clinch.
Jones manages to break the clinch.
Jones lands a with a good body shot. Rollins slips a jab and a cross from Jones.

and Jones counters with a lovely straight right hand! A jab lands there for Jones.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A clash of legs there as Jones blocks the low kick. Jones wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Rollins throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Jones counters with a stiff right hand. Jones slips under a jab from Rollins. Jones throws a leg kick but Rollins checks it. Rollins throws a jab when Jones was well out of range. Jones throws a series of punches but Rollins moves out of range. A good leg kick by Jones. Rollins is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Rollins's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems. Rollins looks to clinch and Jones connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rollins misses with a jab to the body
and Jones counters with a right hand to the body. A nice leg kick lands there from Rollins. A slow jab from Rollins misses its intended target. Jones scores with a jab to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lucifer Jones dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

and Jones cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Jones throws a lazy head kick and Rollins counters with a thumping low kick. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Rollins misses with a kick to the body and Jones counters with a lovely shot to the body. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Rollins. Rollins misses with a body shot
and Jones counters with a series of strikes. Rollins will be more careful next time no doubt. Rollins swings and misses with a shot to the body and Jones counters with a left to the body. Rollins scores with a nice strike. Jones circles away from the clinch attempt and Jones counters with a stiff right hand. Rollins looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Jones lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Rollins misses with a straight right. Rollins throws a predictable looking body shot
and Jones counters with a nice leg kick. Rollins misses with a hook. A big left from Rollins misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rollins needs to keep his hands up - Jones had a free shot at his head there. Rollins cracks Jones with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Rollins blocks a leg kick. A punch combination from Jones misses. Jones lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jones lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rollins circles away quickly and effectively. Donk. Jones catches Rollins right on the button with a cross. Jones throws a series of strikes that have Rollins backpedaling.
Rollins closes the distance looking to clinch and Jones counters with a two punch combo.
Rollins is rocked! Jones feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Rollins crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:01 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Lucifer Jones! Lucifer Jones retains his welterweight title!
