Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bunda Berg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yujiro Kushida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yujiro Kushida told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bunda Berg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yujiro Kushida!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Hirohito Nitta and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berg lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Kushida at a distance.
Kushida throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
We've been told by Berg's head coaches at Valhalla Training Camp that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Kushida is rocked!
Berg cracks Kushida with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Kushida tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Berg pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Kushida is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bunda Berg!
An out of breath Bunda Berg thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
