Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sendou Kitano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Boyfriend (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kitano comes to the cage accompanied by Taeko Ohnuki - 4:00 AM. Daniel Boyfriend has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Ren Mimura and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kitano misses with a hook.
Kitano moves away from the strike by Boyfriend.
Kitano gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Kitano displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Boyfriend throws out the jab.
Boyfriend misses with a two punch combination.
Kitano feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Boyfriend's calf.
A nice leg kick lands there from Kitano.
Boyfriend throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Kitano counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Daniel Boyfriend has been cut.
Kitano gets a clinch.

Kitano breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Sendou Kitano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kitano cracks the inside of Boyfriend's front leg.
Boyfriend defending well as Kitano loads up on a big left hand.
Kitano lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kitano tries to clinch up but Boyfriend circles away and keeps his distance.
Kitano throws a shot from downtown. Boyfriend moves away and avoids it.
It seemed like Boyfriend was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Nice jab there from Boyfriend.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Decent striking displayed by Kitano there.
Boyfriend misses with a looping right.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Boyfriend crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Kitano - the referee stops the clock and Boyfriend gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Kitano. Boyfriend manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Boyfriend misses with a series of wild punches.

Kitano connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Boyfriend scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Kitano connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Boyfriend momentarily.
Boyfriend is rocked!
That has opened up Daniel Boyfriend's cut even more.
Boyfriend ducks into an uppercut from Kitano and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sendou Kitano!
A pretty intense looking Sendou Kitano took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
