Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Maxxy Baby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maxwell Booker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Booker shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Baby counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Booker drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Baby connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Booker momentarily.
Baby feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bookers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Booker looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Baby lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Booker drives through with a takedown into Baby's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Booker drops back looking for a leg! Baby is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Baby manages to kick Booker off! Booker jumps back into Baby's guard.

Baby will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Baby wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Baby fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Booker on the side of the head.

Baby is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Booker can do to turn this around?

Baby is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Baby tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.

Booker wants to finish this one by submission but Baby is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Booker.

Baby is desperately trying to improve his position but Booker has a good base and remains in mount.

Booker is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Baby is surviving well by controlling Booker's body position as best he can.
Booker misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Baby wants to control but Booker is having none of it.
The referee warns Baby that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Booker thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
We've been hearing good reports from Baby's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Booker is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Baby to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Baby shrugs it off.
Booker has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Baby has left one of his arms exposed and Booker doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Baby screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
