The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kelly. Kelly drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kelly decides to stand back up. Lewis throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Kelly ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Lewis swinging wilding here.
Lewis swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Kelly changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lewis looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Lewis is breathing heavily. Kelly working the head with strikes. Kelly tries to score with some ground and pound. Lewis controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kelly working the head with strikes. Kelly tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. That's two minutes gone in the round. The ground and pound from Kelly seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Lewis takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Kelly working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Lewis is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Lewis knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kelly on the ground. Kelly looks up at the clock and then as Lewis takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Kelly smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Lewis tries to get out of the position. Kelly misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kelly punishing his opponent with strikes. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kelly landing strikes from the mount. Kelly is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Lewis is surviving well by controlling Kelly's body position as best he can. Kelly with shots to the head and body - Lewis looks very uncomfortable down there. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jesse Kelly dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Kelly shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Kelly working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Lewis's head. Kelly in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Lewis utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Kelly has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Kelly sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Lewis's guard. Jesse Kelly has got the better of the ground game so far. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kelly connects with a nice short shot to Lewis's temple. Lewis is trying to stand.
Kelly passes the guard and advances to mount! Kelly pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kelly landing strikes, looking to finish! Kelly punishing his opponent with strikes. Lewis taking shots to the head. Lewis taking shots to the head. Kelly trying to control but he's not successful this time. Kelly has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Kelly is landing with some decent strikes but Lewis is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Kelly scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Lewis?

Kelly with good strikes from the mount here! Kelly has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Lewis's face.

Kelly won't let Lewis get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kelly breaks from Lewis's wrist control and lands an elbow. Kelly lands a nice shot to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kelly misses with the ground and pound. Kelly with the ground and pound but Lewis regains half guard under the barage of strikes. Kelly winds up and cracks Lewis with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Kelly sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Lewis defending well though. Lewis blocking the ground and pound attempt from Kelly.

Kelly thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Lewis keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Kelly drops an elbow to the side of Lewis's head. Kelly is stalling here. Lewis is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Kelly seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Lewis has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Kelly tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Lewis presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Kelly is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Lewis trying to control but he's not successful this time. Kelly tries to get back to half guard but can't. Kelly is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that's the end of the fight! Jesse Kelly comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Kelly winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
