Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Daario Naharis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 14 - 0, fighting out of New York, Trey Brown!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Elvis Blanc and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown misses the body punch
and Naharis counters with a straight right hand.
Naharis ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Brown jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.


It looks like Daario Naharis has been cut.
Brown scores with a nice right hand.
Brown works the jab nicely.
Naharis drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
A good leg kick by Brown.
Brown misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Brown misses with a looping right.
Naharis tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Brown manages to circle out of the way.
Brown throws a head kick but Naharis moves out of range.

Naharis needs to keep his hands up - Brown had a free shot at his head there.
A bone on bone clash there as Naharis blocks the leg kick.

Brown cracks Naharis with an uppercut from hell and Naharis crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Brown's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

Brown tries to free his leg and advance position but Naharis is retaining full guard.

Naharis seems to have got his legs back now.
Naharis has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Naharis has his hands on Brown's head, controlling the position.

Brown wants to get up but he can't break Naharis's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Brown slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Naharis has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Naharis manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Brown manages to get himself to full guard.

Naharis is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Brown controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Naharis is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Brown won't allow Naharis to sweep him here.
Naharis wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Brown controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Brown smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Naharis moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Brown tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Naharis manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Naharis appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Naharis drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Brown swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Naharis.
Naharis uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Brown.
As Brown looks to move away, Naharis throws a big counter combo but Brown just gets out of the way.
Brown jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Naharis changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Brown gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Brown escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brown pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Naharis takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Trey Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brown connects with a body shot that sends Naharis's belly button to the back.
Brown lands with an uppercut that bounces Naharis off the cage and back into range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Naharis has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Brown finds it's way round the side to connect with Naharis's head.
Today's fight clock is brought to you by... OOOH that's a huge shot by Brown! Naharis is in big trouble here - the ref steps in to save him and this one is all over!
