Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Brewer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bunny Anstey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brewer comes into the arena with Gangster's Paradise blaring out of the sound system. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 8 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Frank Brewer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
36 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bunny Anstey! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anstey throws a combination that misses and Brewer counters with a nice body kick. Anstey throws a hook but Brewer blocks it. Brewer feinted there with a counter leg kick. Anstey throws a right hand that misses
and Brewer counters with a body kick that stops Anstey in his tracks momentarily. Brewer connects with a body shot. Anstey will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A leg kick checked by Anstey. A swing and a miss from Anstey. Brewer dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Anstey misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Brewer quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. Good leg kick by Brewer there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Anstey throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Anstey stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Brewer. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Anstey misses with a hook
and Brewer counters with a thumping low kick. Anstey throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Brewer sizes up Anstey with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Brewer jabs Anstey to the body, keeping him at a distance. Anstey misses with a straight right.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brewer explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Brewer ducks under a wild hook from Anstey. Anstey throws a hook but Brewer avoids it easily. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Brewer, right into the meat.
Brewer with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Anstey throws a left and a right that both miss
and Brewer counters with a slapping leg kick. A chopping leg kick lands by Brewer. Brewer looks for the body kick but Anstey saw that one coming. Anstey on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Brewer fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Anstey's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Anstey rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Brewer counters with a leg kick. Brewer misses with a low kick. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Brewer - that will leave a mark!
Brewer connects with a solid leg kick. This has been an exciting period of action! Anstey throws a poor cross that misses
and Brewer counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Anstey misses with a lunging right hand
and Brewer counters with a slapping leg kick. Anstey moves into range and connects with a jab.

and Brewer counters with a stiff right hand. Anstey on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Brewer. Brewer obviously looking to wear him down.

A nice leg kick lands there from Brewer. Brewer lands a nice shot that snaps Anstey's head back.
Brewer is looking to slow Anstey down with leg kicks. Anstey will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Brewer counters with a nice leg kick. Brewer connects with an inside leg kick. Brewer misses with a head kick.
Anstey loads up on a big right hand but Brewer slips the punch. Brewer thinks about countering with a head kick. Anstey misses with a body punch
and Brewer counters with a nice leg kick. Brewer throws a nice inside leg kick. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Brewer feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Anstey's calf. Brewer thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Anstey if he has to take too many more of those.
Brewer is looking to wear down Anstey with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Anstey throws an overhand right that lands on Brewer's shoulder, as Brewer tries to avoid the shot. Anstey has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Brewer.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Anstey chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Brewer can pounce on him.
Anstey throws a lazy uppercut
letting Brewer counter with a right hand. Brewer looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Brewer lands with a shot to the body. Anstey pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Brewer quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. An inside leg kick lands from Brewer. Anstey jabbing away but nothing is landing. A chopping leg kick lands by Brewer. Good work by Anstey as he checks the leg kick. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Anstey!
It looks like Frank Brewer has been cut. Brewer looks to score with a jab to the body but Anstey is just out of range. Anstey throws out a counter right but Brewer avoids it with no problem. Anstey throws a lazy uppercut
and Brewer finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Brewer lands with a kick to the ribs.
Anstey tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Brewer was well out of range. Poor timing from Anstey. You can see that Anstey has visibly slowed down as a result of the leg kicks Brewer misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Anstey.
Brewer throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frank Brewer dominated that round. The cut man is working on Frank Brewer's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Brewer scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Brewer connects with a solid leg kick. Anstey moves out of range of the body kick. Donk. Brewer catches Anstey right on the button with a cross. Brewer swings and misses with a shot to the body letting Anstey counter with a right hand. Anstey falls off balance throwing a combination
and Brewer makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Nice body kick from Brewer. Anstey might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Brewer throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Anstey. Brewer pushes Anstey away with a front kick. Brewer moves out of range of the strikes. Brewer lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Brewer lands with a nice body kick. A good leg kick by Brewer. Frank Brewer is winning the standup battle so far. Brewer misses with a head kick.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Anstey might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Brewer has got the better of the exchanges. Anstey scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Brewer thuds his shin into the meat of Anstey's side. Anstey is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Brewer! Anstey is out on his feet! Brewer rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Anstey is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Anstey is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
