Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Bruno Hogan and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Grice's head.
Black throws a leg kick but Grice moved away.
Black ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Grice moves away.
Jack Black seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Black scores with a hook to the body. Grice takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Black misses with a kick to the body.
Some wild striking there from Black.
Black throws a left that rocks Grice and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Black dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Grice regain composure!

Black tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Black is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Grice knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Grice really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Grice tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Black paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Black looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Grice shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Black but Black pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Black will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Black throws a nice looking combination but Grice bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Black lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Grice circles away quickly and effectively.

Black is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Grice rather than just go for the knockout.

Grice has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Grice loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Grice is fighting to break Black's control of his arms but Black is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Grice has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Grice and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Well Black has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
