Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Paradoski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Addison Lacasse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Addison Lacasse will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brandon Paradoski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Addison Lacasse! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lacasse is looking to clinch but Paradoski is avoiding it.
Lacasse blocks a head kick by Paradoski.
Lacasse tries to clinch but Paradoski moves out of range. Lacasse fails in his attempt to clinch. Paradoski bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Paradoski prevents Lacasse from escaping the position. The ground and pound from Paradoski seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Paradoski is looking to take a break and control but Lacasse is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Paradoski lands a few punches from side control. Lacasse is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Paradoski is controlling him well. Paradoski controlling the position. Lacasse is trying to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Paradoski advances nicely into full mount. Paradoski controlling from the full mount. Paradoski landing strikes, looking to finish! Paradoski is in the full mount, landing strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Paradoski looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Paradoski has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Paradoski with good strikes from the mount here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lacasse wants to hold on but Paradoski pushes him away. Paradoski has control of Lacasse's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Lacasse regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Lacasse swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Paradoski with the ground and pound from mount. Paradoski can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Lacasse is looking to escape. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Lacasse is trying desperately to improve position. Paradoski is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Lacasse has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Lacasse!

Lacasse passes easily into side control. Nice work. Lacasse prevents Paradoski from escaping the position. Paradoski is breathing heavily. Lacasse wants to stand but Paradoski has his arm trapped. Lacasse working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. An elbow from Lacasse crashes against the mat.
Lacasse tries to stand but Paradoski is controlling his head.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Lacasse wants to clinch. Lacasse wants to clinch. Lacasse tries to close the distance and clinch but Paradoski swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Lacasse tries to close the distance and clinch up but Paradoski swats him away and circles back towards the center. Paradoski has Lacasse up against the cage in a clinch.
Paradoski is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Lacasse managing to block the knees to the body from Paradoski.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brandon Paradoski dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Lacasse wants to clinch but Paradoski slips to the side and Paradoski counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Paradoski gets to his feet. Lacasse looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Lacasse looks to clinch and Paradoski counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Paradoski. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Paradoski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lacasse swivels though and keeps the full guard. Lacasse wants to sweep but no luck. Lacasse is trying to keep Paradoski in close.
Paradoski slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Paradoski decides to stand back up. Lacasse wants to clinch but Paradoski slips to the side and Paradoski counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Paradoski. Lacasse lands a knee to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lacasse crunches a lovely knee into Paradoski's ribcage. Paradoski tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Paradoski tries to pull guard but Lacasse holds him up against the cage and eventually Paradoski drops back down to his feet.
Paradoski is trying to break the clinch but Lacasse has him pressed against the cage. Paradoski ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Paradoski no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Paradoski throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Lacasse trying to control the position from guard on top but Paradoski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Paradoski looking for a sweep. Not yet Paradoski, not yet. Lacasse wants to get up but he can't break Paradoski's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Lacasse advances to half guard. Paradoski is staying active underneath Lacasse, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Paradoski is positioning himself well to prevent Lacasse advancing to mount. Paradoski is trying to maintain the position but Lacasse is very close to passing his half guard. Lacasse decides to return to a standing position. Paradoski changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lacasse tries to avoid it but Paradoski manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lacasse to the ground. Lacasse escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brandon Paradoski. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lacasse moves into the clinch. Nice elbow from Lacasse. Paradoski is trying to drag Lacasse to the mat but Lacasse just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Lacasse is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Paradoski gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lacasse lands a damaging elbow. Paradoski breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Lacasse lands a front kick. Paradoski pushes Lacasse up against the cage in a clinch. Lacasse breaks from the clinch.
Lacasse moves in looking to clinch but Paradoski pushes him off. Paradoski drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Paradoski stands up from Lacasse's guard - Paradoski perhaps looking for a knockout. Lacasse wants to clinch but Paradoski slips to the side and Paradoski counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lacasse won't be happy with that. Paradoski stands up and we're back to a striking position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Paradoski looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Lacasse! Paradoski looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Paradoski throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Paradoski tries to control but Lacasse wriggling away. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. You get the feeling that Lacasse really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Brandon Paradoski dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Paradoski decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lacasse tries to clinch but fails miserably and Paradoski counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Paradoski trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Lacasse manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Lacasse trying to stand up but can't free himself from Paradoski's guard. Paradoski is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Lacasse wants to control from the top but Paradoski keeps moving. Paradoski is trying to control the position but Lacasse postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lacasse advances position into side control! Lacasse working away. Paradoski is trying to buck Lacasse off.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Lacasse misses with a takedown and Paradoski counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Paradoski's corner is telling him to maintain position. Paradoski stands and throws Lacasse's legs to the side, diving into side control. Lacasse wants to control but Paradoski postures up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Paradoski landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Lacasse is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Paradoski's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Paradoski decides to return to a standing position. Lacasse wants to clinch. Lacasse wants to clinch. Lacasse tries to clinch but fails miserably so Paradoski counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Paradoski passes Lacasse's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Paradoski wants to control but Lacasse is keeping him busy. Lacasse is trying to stand up here but Paradoski is controlling him well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Paradoski decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Paradoski misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lacasse tries to clinch and Paradoski counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lacasse is looking to control Paradoski's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Lacasse avoid being mounted? Paradoski prevents Lacasse from improving his position. Paradoski keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Paradoski wants to control but Lacasse is keeping him busy. Addison Lacasse has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Brandon Paradoski is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Lacasse is looking to improve his position.
And that's the end of the fight! Brandon Paradoski showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Paradoski, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
