Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vitaly Karelin (ranked 485 p4p, 10 weight class) and Arthur Curry (ranked 192 p4p, 8 weight class). Curry is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Molly Malone - The Dubliners. Arthur Curry will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
26 - 15 - 0, fighting out of London, Vitaly Karelin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
38 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Arthur Curry! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Karelin misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Curry gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Karelin to score an easy takedown into full guard. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Curry holds on and takes a little breather. Karelin working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Karelin throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Curry works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Karelin might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Curry looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Curry is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Curry is pulling down on Karelin's head to control his posture. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Curry's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's one minute gone in the round. Curry is continuing to stall. Karelin postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Karelin trying to control but Curry is working from the bottom. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Curry is pulling down on Karelin's head to control his posture.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Karelin shoots in for a takedown but Curry shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Karelin looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Karelin loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Curry pulls Karelin in close to prevent any damage. Karelin trying to control the position from guard on top but Curry is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Curry looking to hit a scissor sweep but Karelin is one step ahead there. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Curry wants to stand and escape but Karelin is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Karelin won't allow Curry to sweep him here. Karelin working some strikes from top position. Karelin throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Curry works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Karelin throwing strikes from guard but Curry blocks nicely. Curry preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Karelin loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Curry is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Karelin has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Karelin is looking to work some ground and pound but Curry has wrist control. Karelin pushing down on Curry's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Curry is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Karelin jumps into side control! Curry parries the strikes from Karelin easily there. Karelin is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Curry to escape.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Karelin throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Curry is trying to control Karelin's posture but Karelin avoids it. Curry is looking for a sweep. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Curry manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Karelin is looking to take a break and control but Curry is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Curry controlling the position for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Curry defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Karelin. Karelin fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Karelin has his takedown stuffed and Curry counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Vitaly Karelin has been cut. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vitaly Karelin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Karelin shoots in looking for a takedown but Curry manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Karelin's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Vitaly Karelin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Curry waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Karelin. Karelin closes the distance and clinches up with Curry, looking for a takedown. Karelin pushes Curry against the cage but Curry circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Karelin shoots in but Curry avoids the takedown attempt easily. A little jabbing left from Curry on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Karelin has been working on his balance at LOD London BALLS OF STEEL, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Curry. Curry throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Karelin with a poor takedown and Curry counters with a lovely straight right hand! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Curry thuds his right hand into Karelin's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Vitaly Karelin's cut is getting worse. Karelin shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Curry counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Karelin is defended easily by Curry. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Curry and Karelin are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Curry throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Karelin into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Curry knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:08 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Arthur Curry! Post fight, Arthur Curry stared into the camera and said 'It was an honor fighting such a legend Im sure u will never forget it !'.
