The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Mccall fails to land with a series of punches.
And Benderchin tries to counter it with a takedown but Mccall pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Mccall throws an overhand right that lands on Benderchin's shoulder, as Benderchin tries to avoid the shot.
Nice uppercut lands for Benderchin. That snapped Mccall's head back.
Mccall tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Benderchin swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

and Benderchin counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Mccall could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

A jab lands there for Benderchin.
Benderchin connects with a good right hand that stumbles Mccall. Mccall circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Mccall moves into the clinch.
Mccall drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Benderchin gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Mccall breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Benderchin might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Benderchin has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Mccall is proving hard to escape from.

Benderchin throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Mccall stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
