The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cookie looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Mills on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Mills tries for a takedown but Cookie circles away easily
and Cookie counters with a good low kick that Mills was not able to check.
Cookie punishes Mills's body with a nice straight punch.
Mills blocks a jab.
Mills tries to move into range but Cookie moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Cookie misses with a double jab.

Cookie thows a body kick. Mills tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Cookie has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Cookie can do anything to dispel that myth.

Cookie tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Mills is able to avoid easily.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Mills looking for a triangle here. Cookie is fighting it but it looks tight! Mills pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Cookie is tapping out - this one is all over!

In his post fight interview, Tyler Mills started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
