Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and H Akeem Cerezo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lucas Allen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, H Akeem Cerezo!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Marco Blurström and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Allen misses.
Allen has his takedown stuffed
and Cerezo counters with a thumping low kick.
Cerezo leaves Allen with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Lucas Allen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Allen has managed to clinch.
Cerezo landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Allen fails to pull guard.

Cerezo bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Allen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Cerezo throws a front kick that sends Allen stumbling back into the cage.
Allen tries to bum rush Cerezo with a series of wild strikes but Cerezo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Cerezo throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Allen.
Cerezo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Allen swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Allen gets a clinch.

Cerezo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Allen misses with a head kick.
Allen takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Cerezo throws a body punch but Allen moves out of range.
A head kick from Cerezo lands but Allen takes it in his stride.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Cerezo instigates a clinch.

Cerezo manages to break the clinch.

Allen clinches with his opponent.
Knees to the body from Cerezo.
Cerezo lands a nice knee to the body.
Allen wants to break free but Cerezo has control.
Cerezo tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Allen avoids it.
Allen lands a hook that snaps the head of Cerezo backwards.
Allen wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Allen takes an elbow to the temple.

Cerezo comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.


It looks like Lucas Allen has been cut.
Allen managing to block the knees to the body from Cerezo.
Allen tries to circle away but Cerezo has him pinned against the cage.

Cerezo breaks from the clinch.
Allen throws a body kick that misses.
Cerezo cracks the inside of Allen's front leg.

Allen forces Cerezo back against the cage and clinches.
Allen jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Cerezo walks away with a smile on his face. Allen gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Allen shoots for a double leg takedown but Cerezo sprawls well. He's pushed Allen's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Cerezo goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Allen throws a sloppy head kick and Cerezo moves out of range easily.

Cerezo gets tackled into the cage by Allen. Allen maintains the clinch.
Allen effectively controlling the action here.
Cerezo stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Allen just leaning against Cerezo, taking a breather.

Cerezo creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Allen's defenses.
Allen tries to pull guard but Cerezo holds him up against the cage and eventually Allen drops back down to his feet.

Cerezo is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Allen is defending well for now.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Cerezo looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.
Cerezo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Allen tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Cerezo defends well and Allen ends up having to push Cerezo into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Cerezo throws a front kick that sends Allen stumbling back into the cage.
Allen tries for a takedown but Cerezo sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

H Akeem Cerezo seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.

Cerezo pushes Allen off looking to stand but Allen dives back in and keeps control.
Allen wants to free his trapped foot but Cerezo is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Cerezo is trying to control but can't.
Allen tries to pass the half guard into mount. Cerezo knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Allen misses with a takedown attempt
and Cerezo counters with an inside leg kick.
Allen tries to score a power double leg takedown but Cerezo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Allen somewhat.

Allen is looking to counter the offense by Cerezo and move into the clinch.

Allen shoots in for a takedown but Cerezo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Cerezo throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Allen's head.
A looping hook to the body misses from Cerezo. Allen does a little dance to reset his feet.
Allen throws a big counter combination but Cerezo scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Allen instigates a clinch.
H Akeem Cerezo is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Cerezo is pressed up against the cage. Allen has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Cerezo down to the mat. Cerezo avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Allen's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Cerezo will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Allen up against the cage.

H Akeem Cerezo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Cerezo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
