Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lo Aria (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pekka Soikkeli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aria's entrance music is Bruce Lee "Kung Fu Fighting". A fine choice. Soikkeli has chosen Capleton - Liberation Time as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aria throws a sloppy head kick and Soikkeli moves out of range easily.
Soikkeli shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Aria but Aria pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Lo Aria seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Soikkeli tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Soikkeli has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Aria is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Aria throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Soikkeli takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

It looks like Pekka Soikkeli has been cut.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Aria! Soikkeli is out on his feet! Aria rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Soikkeli is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Soikkeli is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
