The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
NEW FEDOR is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Karchinski drives through and clinches with NEW FEDOR against the cage.
Karchinski lands with a right to the head.
Karchinski makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Karchinski decides to pull guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Karchinski counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in NEW FEDOR's guard now.

NEW FEDOR keeping moving, preventing Karchinski from controlling successfully.
NEW FEDOR is pulling down on Karchinski's head. It's preventing any offense from Karchinski, at least for the moment.
Karchinski throws a strike but NEW FEDOR rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

NEW FEDOR has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Karchinski is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

NEW FEDOR steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Karchinski. That one must have hurt.
Karchinski lands a nice leg kick that just misses NEW FEDOR's sensitive parts.
Ken Karchinski is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
NEW FEDOR is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Karchinski's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Karchinski's back!

Karchinski looks to score with a jab to the body but NEW FEDOR is just out of range.
Karchinski takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Karchinski throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Karchinski is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that NEW FEDOR can do to turn this around?
NEW FEDOR on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if NEW FEDOR can do anything to dispel that myth.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
