Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schafer feints and as Assad raises his hands in defense, Schafer changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Assad leaves Schafer with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Assad keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Assad looks to land a left hand but Schafer moved out of range nicely.

Schafer shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Assad sprawls well. Assad wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Schafer gets slowly back to his feet.

Schafer glances at the clock... BAM! Assad nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Schafer crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Schafer is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
