The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bei moves into range and clinches up with The Eagle.
I was talking to Bei's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Bei scores with a shoulder strike.
The Eagle tries to circle away but Bei has him pinned against the cage.

Bei lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
The Eagle is rocked!
Bei jerks The Eagle's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! The Eagle drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Bei goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Bei because The Eagle was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). Liu Bei!
After winning the bout, Liu Bei thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
