Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Takizama Zuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kosei Date (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Takizama Zuki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kosei Date! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Kenichi Hosakawa and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zuki shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Date defends it nicely. Zuki fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Date looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Zuki tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Date defends well and Zuki ends up having to push Date into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Date fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Zuki, pushing him back against the cage. Date lands a damaging elbow. Date lands an elbow inside. A short left from Date. Date stalling against the cage.
Date lands a hook to the side of the head. Date lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Date effectively controlling the action here. Date lands a knee to the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Date lands a knee to the head.
Date dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zuki misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Date.
Zuki has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Date avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Takizama Zuki. That's going to take a lot out of him. Zuki takes an elbow to the temple. Date gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Date gets underhooks to prevent Zuki's takedown attempt.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Zuki. Date effectively controlling the action here. Zuki jumps guard but Date turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Date lands a nice elbow. Date content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Zuki misses with a hook to the ribs.
Nice elbow from Date. Zuki jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Date walks away with a smile on his face. Zuki gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Date rushes Zuki and presses him up against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Date stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Zuki takes an elbow to the forehead. Zuki fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The referee calls for Date to work.
Date lands a good knee to the midsection. Zuki won't want to take too many of those. Zuki is breathing heavily. Zuki takes a shot to the head.
Zuki is rocked! Date has Zuki pressed against the cage. He pushes Zuki back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Date throws a beautiful elbow that sends Zuki crashing to the floor! Date piles on the pressure with more strikes! Zuki is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kosei Date!
