The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams avoids the head kick by Murillo.

Williams flicks out a counter leg kick but Murillo steps away.
We've been told by Murillo's head coaches at Jed's Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Murillo lands a leg kick that knocks Williams off balance momentarily.
Murillo will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Williams 's jab looks to have found its range, popping Murillo under the eye.

Williams throws out a loose jab but Murillo uses good head movement to avoid it.
Murillo swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Williams cracks Murillo with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Murillo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Williams moves away.
Williams appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Murillo clobbers Williams with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Williams is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Murillo had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Williams dips to his left and cracks Murillo with an uppercut!
