Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alden Wiley (ranked 10018 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trey Daniels (ranked 7338 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniels lands a jab to the head.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Wiley enables Daniels to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Wiley manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Wiley wants to sweep but no luck.

Wiley looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Daniels connects with a couple of short punches.

Wiley is looking for a triangle here but Daniels uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Daniels trying to control the action but Wiley is working from the bottom.

Daniels tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Daniels has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Daniels is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Wiley is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Wiley is looking to regain half guard here but Daniels keeps moving and retains side control.

Daniels is trying to get an arm triangle but Wiley is defending well.

Wiley throws a few rabbit punches from the bottom. Daniels was waiting for it though - now Wiley's arm is in the perfect position for an arm triangle - he's tightening it up and Wiley is forced to tap out before he takes a nap! Very clever counter grappling there from Daniels!
